How to Lock Out the Car Thieves

Car theft in the UK is big business, and it is estimated that one car is stolen every minute, with over two million vehicle related thefts each year. Luckily, there are some simple ways you can protect your car from theft. Locking your car doors whenever you leave your vehicle can be the biggest deterrent for a potential thief. Other simple, yet sensible acts, like always rolling up your windows completely, never leaving your key in the ignition and parking in well-lit areas will also help deter thieves.

When you are at home, you may think that your car is safe in your driveway or garage, but your car can still be a potential target in these situations. Car theft is often an opportunist crime, rather than a premeditated one; so you should never head out to your car on a cold winter's morning, start it up, turn on the heater and then head back in the house to finish your breakfast. Likewise, you should never leave your car running just to pop into the shops to get some milk or return that DVD.

There are other, more advanced, measures you can take to protect your car as well. A visible or audible device will often scare off any potential thieves. A car alarm is noisy and will give the thief a big fright - hopefully enough to make them think twice about taking your car. Other devices such as steering wheel locks or steering column locks make an obvious statement that this is a car that is not worth trying to steal. Even if you can't afford a high-tech alarm system, consider just getting stickers that warn intruders of one, or buy a dummy alarm system. It may be enough to keep them from touching your car.

If a thief does get into your car, often the first thing they'll do is try to hotwire it to get it started. One way to ensure this doesn't happen is to install an engine immobiliser. An engine immobiliser works by disabling the car's engine and not allowing it to start. The only way to get it going is by inserting a particular key or code into the car which only you have access to. Most modern cars have an immobiliser installed as standard; if your car has one, be sure to make use of it!

Going up another step in car protection is to have a tracking system installed. Although expensive, it'll help to recover your car much more quickly and hopefully with less damage, by emitting a GPS signal that police can quickly trace.

Taking steps to protect your car against potential theft can not only provide peace of mind, but can also save you money when it comes to getting a car insurance quote, as some insurers may offer discounts on premiums for cars that are well protected.

Just one more reason for taking steps to safeguard your motor!

School Bus Defensive Driving

You may think that driving a vehicle as big as a school bus automatically guarantees your safety. However, if you observe the news regularly, you know that not only do accidents occur that involve school buses but they are also very traumatic and often fatal when they do occur. Drivers may be required to take training to drive a commercial type vehicle, but school bus defensive driving is necessary to make them safer drivers.

School Bus Defensive Driving Saves Children's Lives

A school bus carries the most precious cargo of any other vehicle. Our children must rely on these vehicles to get them to and from school. For some sports team members or those of the band, trips to games may mean riding the school bus for hours at a time. Field trips are also taken in them frequently. The more time that is spent carrying students on a school bus, the greater the odds for an accident.

School bus defensive driving means more than knowing when to put the stop sign out to let children get on or off the bus. It means paying attention to other traffic. A driver should never assume that they have the right of way just because of the type of vehicle they are driving. If you go through an intersection where a car is approaching from another direction, don't assume the car will stop. Slow down until the vehicle has stopped or nearly stopped so you can be sure of their intentions. If they fail to stop as they should, you will be traveling at a slow rate of speed so you can stop in time for the vehicle to continue without your hitting it.

This is the whole purpose of school bus defensive driving. Not only are you responsible for preventing accidents with your vehicle, but you also take responsibility for other driver's mistakes by correcting them before they lead to tragedy.

School bus drivers are taught the basics about picking up and letting off and using their stop sign to signal other drivers. They can't rely on the signs to do the trick every time. You never know when an oncoming car may be driven by an intoxicated driver. Although most buses try to pick up and drop off on the same side of the road they are driving on, there are occasions where children must cross the road. In these cases, the bus driver should tell the students when to cross, regardless of the student's age, and they should only cross when there is no vehicle moving in sight in either direction. School bus defensive driving takes place while moving and while sitting still.

School Bus Defensive Driving - When Seat Belts Can't Help

Some of the newer models of school buses have seat belts in them and this will help greatly in reducing injuries when accidents occur. The majority of school buses don't have seat belts, so children are at greater risk. The school bus driver should make sure that students are seated at all times when the buses are moving. Just having to hit your breaks suddenly can lead to the serious injury of a child in the aisle.

School bus defensive driving may be required before you can be employed as a school bus driver. If so, take comfort in knowing you may be taking steps to save children's lives.

You Get Bad Gas Mileage Because You Want To!

The first time I heard that it ticked me off, until I realized... they were right.

There are so many things I could do to increase mileage it wasn't even funny. And I'm not talking about the hypermiling stuff that will drive you crazy, but all the "little" things.

Take something as simple as lubrication. Engine, transmission, ball joints, and bearings all have friction and all need to be lubricated. The Oil Change shops have "conditioned" us to change our oil every 3,000 miles, but the Manufacturers most now recommend 7,500 miles which has a safety factor of 50% built in.

Oil is oil isn't it? Well, yes and no! Oil "shear strength" is what tells you how "good" an oil is. The lower the shear strength the worse it is. Natural oils have the worse shear strength regardless of the "additives". Semi-synthetics are better, and full synthetics are the best. Of all the oils tested (which are 100's) Mobil 1 is good and Amsoil's Signature Series full synthetic as been shown to be the best.

I've personally only run full synthetic motor oils since 1986 and my engines don't show any wear, even with 228,000 miles on my current engine. Why anyone would run anything but synthetics that don't need changing for 20,000 miles is beyond me. They pay for themselves many times over in increased mileage alone.

Then there are the Oil Additives; STP, Prolong, Duralube, Lucas, etc. We know they exist, but less than 10% of Americans use them, let alone even ever TRIED them. Why? Who knows, maybe we don't believe the claims to increased mileage, maybe no one ever explained what they can do. Do they work?, sure, but for a limited time, mostly by coating the walls of the cylinder with teflon, ptfe, or graphite. But they are short lived and usually require a continued diet of adding it to your oil EVERY time you change your oil and the FTC came down hard on unrealistic claims.

And last, the metal treatment processes. Where Oil Additives ONLY coat the metal, treatment or conditioning processes actually bond to the metal or even change the molecular structure of the metal. Companies like 300 Below is expensive, time, and energy consuming to remove the engine and have it cryo'd to 300 degrees below zero, but is worth it, just not for the average Joe. Metal conditioners like the Super Lubers engine conditioner that with nano-technology actually bonds to the metal inside the cylinder and reduces friction so much that I couldn't help but get an additional 4.5 miles per gallon often giving 15%-20% increase in mileage.

So you see, I really was getting lower gas mileage because I wanted to.

How to Improve Gas Mileage and Save on Fuel - 4 Gas Saving Tips

Here are a few tips to save on gas. Of course, only do the ones that make sense for you since not everyone is in a position to take advantage of all the suggestions. Some of them may seem silly or nit pickey, but remember, the goal is to save money.

Always fill up in the morning. Always. Everyone can do this. The reason is that gas expands with heat and you will actually get less gas for the same cost if you pump in the afternoon. The gas in the underground tank heats up during the sunlight hours and cools down at night.
Pump your gas at a moderately slow level. This reduces the amount of gas that gets returned to the underground tank in the form of vapor. The faster you pump, the more gas gets returned as vapor.
This may seem silly, but get gas as often as possible. Since gas goes up almost daily, you will be 'dollar cost averaging' your purchases at the pump. Lets compare getting gas whenever your tank is only a quarter empty with waiting until your tank is completely empty. If your tank holds 12 gallons and you wait till its a quarter empty, you get three gallons.
Here are our assumptions: Tank size = 12 gallons. Gas goes up $.05 every day. Both drivers originally fill up when gas is $4.00 , but driver #1 refills at 3/4 of a tank and driver #2 fills up when completely empty.

Driver 1 buys 12 gallons on Day 1 - $4.00/gal x 12 gallons = $48.00
Driver 1 buys 3 gallons on day 3 - $4.15/gal x 3 gallons = $12.45
Driver 1 buys 3 gallons on day 5 - $4.30/gal x 3 gallons = $12.90
Driver 1 buys 3 gallons on day 7 - $4.45 /gal x 3 gallons = $13.35
Driver 1 buys 3 gallons on day 9 - $4.60/gal x 3 gallons = $13.80
So, Driver 1 has paid a total of $100.05

Driver 2 fills up on day 1 - $4.00/gal x 12 gallons = $48.00
Driver 2 fills up on day 9 - $4.60/gal x 12 gallons = $55.20
Driver 2 has paid a total of $103.20 Just because driver 2 waited, he has had to pay $3.15 more than did driver 1.
This strategy may seem silly to you, but if you do this all the time, you will save a lot over the long run. Combine this with only getting gas in the morning, and you save far more than you realize. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Gas isn't going up 5 cents every day, etc..." It doesn't matter. The only way this strategy will hurt you is if prices are falling. So, when prices start to fall (HA HA HA) you can then wait to fill up when your tank is empty.

The last suggestion is to install a fuel saving device. There are now a few websites devoted to teaching you how to use water to create hydrogen (called HHO) which then gets input into your engine through the intake manifold. It requires that you have a separate apparatus which holds the water and connects to the battery, but it isn't as if you pour water in the gas tank. These devices do actually work, and more importantly do not damage your car. You can test the devices without risk. Most sites will hype up the claims on increased gas mileage, but the increase really depends on the vehicle into which you install the device. On average, though, you will see a definite improvement in your gas mileage.

Features of the Toyota Camry Hybrid

With all the high gas prices out there, hybrid vehicles are continuing to become more popular among drivers. There are a few hybrid choices out there, but the Toyota Camry Hybrid seems to be the most popular of those choices. Check out some of the features of the Toyota Camry hybrid and what sets itself apart from the other hybrids.

Although the Toyota Camry hybrid is exactly the same as the previous Camry sedan models in many aspects, definitely the Hybrid models differ in some ways. As Hybrid cars are run partly by electricity and the rest by gasoline, there is no denial that there would be positive outcome but there would also be a number of negative impacts. Camry hybrid's later models, such as the 2007 was classified as a "full hybrid". This is because it could run on gas or on electric energy, depending on the preference of the driver. Nowadays, the combination of both is considered to be more popular and more and more people are considering investing in these models.

While the sales of Toyota Camry hybrid are currently remarkably high, the company is still doing their best to get a greater share in the market. Because of this, a massive and research is being conducted to develop the existing specification of the Camry Hybrid. Based on the current specifications of the Toyota Camry Hybrid, we realize that the hybrid is either superior or just within the average level. In the city, the Toyota Camry hybrid has a 40 MPG gas mileage while if the highway it has 38 MPG gas mileage. It runs utilizing a four-cylinder engine that is using gasoline as fuel. The maximum capacity of its NiMH 245V battery is about 30 kilowatt or 40 horsepower, peaking at about 192 horsepower or 140 kilowatts.

About 2.4 liters of fuel can be accommodated in its gasoline engine while the electric motor is 45-horsepower. There is also a system that helps the Camry Hybrids' engine to maintain its efficient power band and this is the facilitating by the continuously variable transmission or CVT the transfer of power to the front wheels. With the help of Hybrid Synergy Drive, the engine always remains at a single gear even if the speed changes.

Toyota Camry Hybrid, based on test drives and reviews conducted, can match the acceleration speed of the Toyota V6 Camry. The Toyota Camry Hybrid is said to have a finer acceleration particularly during traffic merges or highway speed, despite being a Hybrid.

Gas Mileage and Environmental Information

The Toyota Camry Hybrid deserves the award of the Green car of the Year as well as the Eco-Friendly Car in 2007. True to its term as a hybrid, the car is known and proven to apply significantly low consumption of fuel. The fact that Toyota Camry Hybrid can run on a combination of a gasoline and electric engines makes this car formidable and worthy of such awards.

To explain the process, if the car was started from at rest point, the gasoline engine is used by the car. Once it gains and maintains its acceleration speed, the car automatically utilizes its electric motor. We can realize that gasoline consumption is lessened. In this way, the economic efficiency in fuel consumption steps in.

No amount of energy goes to waste even when the driver uses the breaks since it regenerative braking system is being observed. The regenerative braking system is the process the mechanical energy produced when stepping on the brakes is automatically transformed into electric energy that is then automatically kept in the battery. Therefore, plugging the car into an electric outlet for battery charging is no longer needed.

There is also a lower amount of emissions. Toyota Camry Hybrid according to test results, were confirmed to produce the lowest amount of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide. These gases are known to be the major cause of ozone layer destruction. We can hereby confirm that Toyota Camry Hybrid is a major breakthrough for the ecological awareness, as it does not contribute to the destruction of the environment brought about by these toxic emissions.

In any factors, Toyota Camry Hybrid has been highly commendable. In fact, the fuel economy department has recognized its US Environmental Protection Agency rating of about 33 miles per gallon. About 700 miles in distance covers the mobility of the car.

Other Features

Toyota Camry Hybrid is known for applying Hybrid Synergy Drive, it uses a computerized system in the engine transmission interior making the vehicle a one of its kind vehicle. Another unique and smart feature is the LED tail lights, as well as the Eco button that helps make the smart adjustment of the climate control feature easier to manage.

To ensure safety, the Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system is being used for the Toyota Camry Hybrid, note that this system is solely associated with Toyota. This system proves to be very helpful as it helps to detect information from many sensors in the car, respectively, it would trigger the Camry hybrids to set off the respective functions of the car. The control of the Traction of noise, electronic-rake force distribution are monitored by this unique system

As a standard Toyota Camry Vehicle, the safety features are automatically included namely the side curtain bags, anti-lock brakes and side airbags which are mounted on the front seats. Stability control inclusion is an optional safety feature.

With an average current price of $ 26,200, an investment for a Toyota Camry Hybrid is not that bad. Note that the price was set by Toyota Motors at about $25,200 during the initial release of their Hybrids. Although a purchase of a hybrid nowadays can be considered a luxury, we should also consider that the costs of these hybrids are far lesser than the high-end cars. In fact, if we do our research, we can immediately realize that the price of Toyota Camry Hybrid compared to other hybrids in the market is very competitive. Most of the car manufacturers of hybrids mark these models with higher tag price due to the cost of more innovative design, more complicated process to assemble a highly fuel efficient vehicle.

It is remarkable to learn that nowadays, more and more people are considering purchasing these hybrid cars. And this was just after the U.S. car industry suffered a drawback brought about by the dwindling economy, deflating currencies, dramatic increase in fuel and crude oil prices. Buying a vehicle was no longer a priority in the midst of that crisis, but recently the sales figure of the hybrid has shown progress which is why we believe that people are willing to invest on these hybrid vehicles mainly because of its fuel efficient factors. More people are beginning to realize what their investment of hybrid vehicle could give them in return.

For the Toyota Camry Hybrid, I don't think we have left anything more to say. The car is a certified Hybrid, tested and proven. And much to others regret, there have been no negative feedbacks on this model of a hybrid. Toyota Camry Hybrid is a very good investment indeed, and I were you, I wouldn't wait any longer, grab your check and contact your Toyota dealer right away!

Water Hybrid Conversions - How to Save on Gas

With the raising gas prices a new question on everyone's mind is how to save money on gas? Well how about a water hybrid conversion? You don't need to purchase a new vehicle and you can covert the one you currently own to save on gas and get better gas mileage by utilizing a water hybrid car kit or making your own from one of the many plans available online for purchase. So how exactly does your car run on water?

Well, it is not actually the water that the car will replace the gasoline with, it is a byproduct you create using the conversion kit. HHO or Browns Gas is produced through the electrical stimulation of water from a current obtained from your car's battery. By utilizing the power of browns gas you can cut your fuel consumption by up to 40%. Now thats a big savings on the pocketbook. Now I know you may be questioning the safety of using a hydrogen product, but Browns gas is quite safe and in either manner you will only be creating small quantities at a time, so any risk would be very minimal.

For $60 or so you can purchase all the components you will need to do the conversion. It is also great because it is an easy do it yourself project so you won't have to pay a mechanic or anything and the initial outlay of $60 will save you a lot at the pump. Water hybrid car kits essentially contain electrical wiring, baking soda, a sealed container, vacuum hose and obviously, the water. Nothing too scary to deal with. Basically the wiring is used to obtain a current from your cars battery that will convert the water into Browns gas, which is then introduced into your cars manifold.

Hydrogen Generators For Cars - Giving Power Back to the People

Over the past decade we've seen a steady rise in gas prices as time goes on, most people in their early 20's can hardly remember gas being less than $2.00 and today we're seeing gas prices double that.

With the most recent surge taking gasoline from under $3.00 to over $4.00 in some areas in less than a year, everyone is turning to solutions to help keep money in their pocket on their daily commutes. Thousands of people have already discovered a secret that is helping them save money on gas, and that secret is hydrogen generators for cars.

Imagine that every time you turn on your car, a hydrogen gas it automatically generated from plain old tap water, resulting in better fuel economy, cleaner emissions, and more power from your engine. Well wake up, because this is no longer just a dream! Hydrogen generators for cars are now being used in thousands of normal vehicle all across our nation.

Several designs have popped up lately that allow any person to build a simple system that generates a hydrogen/oxygen gas mixture known as HHO. This HHO gas has been talked about frequently in the news and several companies are now working on a complete kit to equip every money-minded person with hydrogen generators for cars.

Due to pressure from oil companies and the fact that thousands of people are already building their own hydrogen generators for cars, many of these companies are dropping out of the race. Although there are a couple commercial units available, they can be quite expensive. Some full solutions costing upwards of $1500, and that's not even including installation!

Fortunately, many are finding that hydrogen generators for cars can be built at home in just a couple hours using standard parts from the hardware store, and for as little as 5% of the price commercial units command. In fact, several guides are now available making the process easier, and taking the power of discovery past the realm of the hobbyist and putting it into the hands of the average person.

The easiest way to get started is to follow one of the many guides available. There are several to choose from, so for your convenience I've compiled a review of the Top 3 Guides so that you can make an informed decision. These guides were designed to show you step-by-step how to start saving gas right away.

Convert Car to HHO

Convert your car to HHO and say goodbye and cheerio to hyper-inflated gas prices. Any car or truck can be converted to HHO fuel systems. Typically convert car to HHO and efficiency is increased by around 50%. That equates to an approximate saving at the gas pump of 40%. The calculations are difficult to fathom but they are the factual percentages in real life.

To convert car to HHO takes about 3 hours. It involves no mechanical skill and costs under $200 in parts. These parts are easy to come by and procure. I know all this from experience. I have just completed my fourteenth truck to run on hydrogen producing electricity. I have also transformed eight cars for family and friends to run on water. All you need are decent instructions.

Remember, I am no mechanic. I now save over $300,000 each year on petroleum and diesel for my truck fleet. I have also had refunds to the tune of $217,000 from the IRS. I only started converting to hydrogen two years ago. I expect over the next 5 years to save myself well in excess of $2 million.

As far as my own, quite modest, family car is concerned I save around $800 a year. I even got a tax refund for that. It was $2,000. When I decided to convert car to HHO I had no idea of the cash savings. I had read about it but was not sure about the technology. Because it was obvious that there was absolutely no risk to the existing gas engine and because it was so cheap, I just decided to give it a go.

Anyone with a decent manual, and I do mean decent, can convert their car to HHO. A good guide will take you through the process step-by-step and give you lists of suppliers. The science may seem a little baffling at first. Let's have a look into it.

Each component must be right, but at the hub of the convert car to HHO system is the oxygen/hydrogen generator. This is a cell that splits H2O into hydrogen and oxygen which in turn produces electricity to power the vehicle. A water tank stores the water which is pumped to the generator or cell, call it what you will. A control unit linked to the generator electronically monitors the creation of hydrogen within the cell.

An in-dash indicator will allow you to oversee the system and how it is functioning. The quality of this component can vary but most that I have tried out are very satisfactory. Virtually all the parts involved in convert car to HHO are long lasting and durable. However, do not be tempted to take short cuts and buy inferior materials. It just does not pay in the long run.

Use quality CPVC pipes for your runs. It is not the most crucial factor and can be rectified but is definitely a pain if you do encounter any problems.

Everyone should be using electricity to run their vehicles. With the HHO kits available today there is simply no excuse not to convert car to HHO

10 Cheap and Easy Ways to Increase Your Gas Mileage

Almost every time that we turn on the radio or television, we hear that gas prices are rising. At the last report, the nationwide average was $3.93 for a gallon. How much does this translate for you in annual fuel costs?

If you are the typical driver who drives 15,000 miles a year, pays about $4 per gallon, and gets 25 miles per gallon, you are paying $2360 annually just to get to work and back. That is quite a bit of money.

We can't control the price of gas, but we can have some effect on how far we can stretch our mileage. Here are 10 tips that you can put into practice to keep more of your money in your pocket.

1. Check your tires - Make sure that you are using the narrowest tires that you can and that they are properly inflated. Sizing and adequate air pressure will decrease drag on the pavement to help your wheels roll with the least resistance.

2. Lighten your load - Check the trunk for coolers, lawn chairs, bags of clothes that never made it to the donation center or newspapers. This extra weight makes the car heavier resulting in more strain on the engine and more tire on the ground.

3. Use cruise control - A constant engine speed will level out the fuel that your car requires from moment to moment. This pacing will save you like you wouldn't believe.

4. Use synthetic oil - This will allow your car's engine to work more smoothly at higher temperatures. Again, the less that your car has to work, the farther that you will go on a tank.

5. Remove your ski and luggage racks - This will decrease the drag that your car creates as it moves through the air, lowers your weight overall, and gets more tire off the pavement.

6. Draft behind big trucks on the highway - Use their size to your advantage. With less wind resistance, you can move through the air much easier resulting in less drag, which works in your favor. I once took a 25 miles per gallon car up to 40 on a long trip doing this.

7. Use overdrive on the interstate - This will lower your car's rpm's to a more efficient level while still doing the same amount of work.

8. Avoid fad products that make ridiculous claims - There is no magic bullet to getting better mileage. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

9. Pickup trucks go with the tailgate up - Studies show that the turbulence that is created behind the cab when the tailgate is down creates drag on the vehicle. I know this is contrary to what you think that you might know, but it's true.

10. Change your air filter - A car with a cleaner filter has a smoother running engine. Less strain means longer distances between pit stops.

Just when the end will come to the run up in the gas prices is unclear. If you are like many, you need your car to get to work everyday, get to the grocery store, get the kids to soccer, and to school. We can't change the price of the fuel, but we can change our habits. Altering behavior just a bit will produce a definite benefit at the pumps.

Write me a note about your triumphs. I love to hear stories about people taking charge and making a difference.

Convert Your Car To Run On Water - Make It Effectively Hybrid

The raging question among auto enthusiasts after a Fox News report is that whether you can really increase gas mileage with the innovative technique of burning water. Recently there was a video report in which an American automotive enthusiast claimed to have a technology that could convert your car to run on water.

It has been more than mere debate whether hybrid cars could actually be the solution for the fuel price hikes occupying the headlines everyday. Of course, they are tech savvy and fuel efficient, but are they affordable? Not many think so, and with so much criticism, it can never hold on to being the hottest trend factor around.

Contrastingly think of water, the readily available resource at hand! You can achieve as much as 100% fuel efficiency through the so called hydrogen on demand system. The present automobiles use only 20% of gas effectively, the remaining part is lost due to heat production, vibrations and other hampering effects. So why not give this new system that can convert your car a more productive product?

Are you proud of the car that gives 25 MPG and one who travels 2000 miles a month? Even if we place the rate of gas at $3 for a gallon, you are in for a loss of $150 a month. You are driving cars that just smoke out 80% of your gas! $50 note you gave at the station is what you pay for the $10 worth of work. Why burn a costly fuel inefficiently while you have the option to make your car to run on water! Not the governments answer every problems, it can be a single citizen who comes up with a solution to a daunting situation.

Summer Vacation - Don't Forget To Check The Spare

Most auto shops that change engine oil will check your tire pressures routinely but seldom will they check the spare tire's air pressure without being specifically asked. If you perform your own maintenance or have an automotive repair shop do it for you, make sure all tire pressures are checked regularly. The next time you see someone on the side of the road with a flat, notice if the flat is the spare tire. You can tell by the mismatched rim or the undersized temporary tire.

You see many times after a flat tire is changed, since the spare tire is hardly ever checked, the tire pressure is low. If the spare tire pressure is low when it is put on the car it will most likely fail before the car reaches the tire store or repair shop. This is the reason most people that experience a flat tire will experience two before the day is over. Low tire pressure can allow the tire to build up excessive heat when the car is driven and result in the rim damaging the sidewall resulting in a blow out. In addition to checking tire pressures including the spare, car owners should also carry a few automotive tools in the trunk as well. My father when buying used cars would always check to make sure a car would have the jack in the trunk. I thought this peculiar until I realized that when he sold a used car he would always keep the jack for himself.

The point I'm making is don't assume that your car has a good spare, the correct size lug wrench and a jack. It's a great idea before heading off for that summer vacation to have in the trunk the following; a flash light, a flat screwdriver, a phillips screwdriver, standard pliers and a set of jumper cables. Have great vacation!

Run Your Car On Water Plans And Guides - How To Run A Vehicle On Water

I was at he gas station today and just noticed gas prices went from 3.90/gallon and now its at $4/gallon. It's not over yet, in fact prices are going to keep rising up. I have heard rumors that we will be somewhere near $6/gallon by the end of 2008. You and me both know that these gas issues are political, think about it... why haven't we done more research into electric cars? The reason is because once they get those cars on the road, oil demand becomes less of an issue, and that's BAD for the gas companies!

I am going to let you In on a little trend that has been going on for a while now. I am going to be blunt with you and just come out and say it. You can run your car on water now... I have been doing it myself, and it has saved me a lot of money. It works by running both water and gasoline in your car.

Please understand that you are NOT running your car on 100% water, you are running it on both WATER and GAS. This combination with an installed kit can save you 40 - 50 percent on your current gas bill.

Imagine filling your gas tank up all the way, and being able to cut that price in half. That's pretty much what you are looking at if you plan on installing a water conversion kit in your car.

These things do work, and they are effective. It can be completely installed for less than $150, and that's it. However keep in mind that you will be running a hybrid vehicle. You don't have to let your friends know about it, but you certainly can let the IRS know this. If you run a hybrid vehicle you can get a large tax return or refund on your car.

Car Accessories Bring A Car To Life

Everybody loves to buy a new car, and really cannot wait to get it home, and, even better taking it out for that first real drive. However, there is more to a car than just the car itself, as any experienced driver will tell you, and especially one who likes all the accessories to go with the best type of car on the market. So what type of accessories should you go for? That really depends on your budget, but for most people there are a set of accessories that they really could not do without.

One of the most important is of course the in-car audio system, because for most people nowadays driving without music almost takes all the pleasure out of driving itself. Most people have now got rid of their old cassette players, and now rely almost exclusively on a CD player. However, there is one step up from this, and that is to install some kind of MP3 player into your car, something which can give you a huge amount of music to listen to while you're on the move. There are various types available on the market, but many people try to do a bit of DIY and fit an Apple IPod into the cars audio system.

If you need to find a way to do this you need to do a bit of research before attempting it yourself, because you need to make sure that all the wiring is done properly. However, for those who have done it, it really can make for the ultimate in car sound system, given that an MP3 player can carry hundreds of hours of music.

But when you're looking at a sound system do not forget the old-fashioned radio, or modern radio for that matter, since there are now many types of digital radio on the market that can make for a really great entertainment system in your car. The great thing about digital radio is that it is very clear, and does not suffer from the kind of distortion that you get from many other types of radio output. Of course, this adds up to a certain expense, but if you really do like to have music on the move this could be a choice that is worthy of consideration.

So whatever your choice in music, be sure that you don't simply opt for the old-fashioned entertainment system, and do take a look at installing an MP3 player into your car, or if you are radio fan, a digital radio. You will probably be impressed by the quality of sound you get.

Water Hybrid Cars - Is It Possible To Run Your Car On Water?

Running cars on water used to be some imaginative idea that wasn't real enough to many but now adays with the new technology really happening a hydrogen powered car actually a definite reality. The vehicle would only need a means to contain and break water into hydrogen and oxygen and then inject these gases to a regular engine so it would run on water literally. And it is now very much possible with just little technical effort that anyone convert their regular car into a hydrogen powered vehicle and that would definitely be a breather from the horrible gas prices rising every week as we find them in the news.

HHO fuel cells (hybrid hydrogen oxygen) provide hydroxy gas generated from water, to aid in combustion. This uses HHO to assist in the burning of gasoline via a complete combustion cycle which reduces gas emissions and isn't hard on your engine without eating up a lot of your gas, allowing you more miles of travel.

So how does your HHO reduce gas emissions and save up on gasoline? The idea is actually a system that breaks down carbon, and remove its deposits from your car engine. This efficient method greatly increase fuel efficiency and also increases the longevity of your vehicle's engine. Your alternator can generate enough HHO with 12v at 1 amp to utilize a well built HHO cell. Seeing all these advantages makes purchasing the system and running your car on water more than worth it. Some even say that HHO cells actually pull less power than car wipers.

They say that HHO cells get pretty hot with the combustion, but still there are ways to control the heat like for example using an ample amount of catalyst (baking soda) and/or with a PWM (Pulse Width Modulator). Since your running a water-for-fuel system, freezing weather could present some problems too while using your catalyst. But no worries because you can also control the freeze by adding 20% denatured alcohol to your fuel cell so you won't freeze up. Either of these catalysts help with the production of HHO.

Configure your car into a water burning hybrid, isn't really hard to do. It doesn't even require too much expertise on engines or a major in mechanical engineering. Plus you get all the benefits of not using gasoline as fuel. By using water as fuel, you can now say goodbye to rising gas costs, increase your mileage dramatically (of course this depends on what type of car you drive), reduce poisonous emissions and prevent global warming. Not only that, they say you can even get IRS tax refunds via your brand new economically friendly vehicle.

Just remember to check your water level every 2 to 3 hours Because of the risk of finishing off your water fuel as your engine burns the water, diminishing water level by the minute. This happens like when water evaporates as you burn it. As the water turns into HHO it is burned by the vehicle and so the water level goes down. One problem that occurs given this this situation is that the cell then has more room for hot HHO. It would be like sticking a hot empty coke can in cold water, making the can implode! Now this is not good for your new system and your engine. So to maximize its lifespan, keep your fuel cell filled with water always. Don't forget also to stick with the plans. These really add MPG and are simple to make.

The materials for converting your car into one that runs on water can be purchased for less than a you expect it and the benefits far outweigh the cost. Your pocket, mother Earth, and your car/vehicle will thank you in the end.

Boost Gas Mileage #2 - More Great Ideas To Stretch Your Fuel Budget

It seems that gas prices hit a new all-time high each week, and the effect on your pocketbook sure is devastating. If you're not ready to trade in that full-size SUV or sedan for a much smaller car and are looking for ways to squeeze more miles from each gallon of gas, you may want to read on. There are still many more things you can do to fight the rising cost of gasoline.

Use synthetic oil.

Rather than waste money on fraudulent and ineffective fuel-saving devices, using synthetic lubricants (engine oil, differential lubricant, etc.) in your car can have a very positive impact on gas mileage. According to a major synthetic oil manufacturer's advertising, unverified customer reports show mileage gains of 4% to 24% after switching to synthetic lubricants. With a mileage increase of just 4%, you would probably more than break even in 15,000 miles (one average year). And there's a bonus: much less wear and tear on your engine and less frequent oil changes! Cha-Ching!

Get rid of extra weight in your car.

Here's an easy one - unload all that extra weight in your car and get about 1% - 2% more MPG for each 100 pounds, you lose. Of course, the savings is more dramatic for smaller cars, but every penny counts. Remove tool boxes, your mother in-law, books for Goodwill (have them come and collect your donations), golf clubs, etc., etc. Folks, this one is practically a freebee!

Don't use the air conditioning in town.

Can you take a little extra heat this year? If you're cruising in the city, studies have shown that rolling down the windows and shutting off the a/c will definitely save gas. But, when driving on the highway, rolling down the windows creates more aerodynamic drag, using more gas in the process than rolling the windows up and turning on the a/c. Try to plan around-town trips in the evening or early morning when it's cooler outside.

Water 4 Gas Hydrogen Generator System Reviews - Facts On How To Reduce Your Gas Costs Using Water

Gas prices are on the all time high. What are you doing to reduce your gas costs? If you have not installed the water 4 gas system in your car's engine, then your gas budget is going out of control. There is a new DIY (Do-It-Yourself) system that can easily be installed in your car engine to reduce fuel consumption, increase the car's MPG, enhance fuel efficiency, reduce harmful emissions and lower the engine noise levels. This system will save you money on gas at the same time.

Increase your Car's MPG: Fact # 1

This system simply breaks down water into hydrogen (H2) and Oxygen (O1) and releases these gases into your car's engine. The gases are combined with fuel in its gaseous state in the car's internal combustion chamber. The mixture of H and O gases in your engine reduces the volume of fuel needed at any moment in the chamber. Hydrogen expands 18,000 times more than an equal volume of fuel and is many more times more combustible. The net effect of this mixture is that your car needs far less volume of fuel to cover the same distance as when using fuel only.

You will therefore use less fuel to cover the same mileage that you cover every week, month, year etc.

Reduce your car fuel consumption: Fact # 2

This is a very simple system that includes 3 main components. You will need a heat resistant jar with a tight lead. A stainless steel coil is wound round a non-conductor material and immersed in the jar of water. The stainless steel coil has positive and negative DC current terminals directly connected to your car ignition system. This coil runs a current from your car battery to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen on demand.

This means you only produce the gases when you switch on your car and use it all up as the car runs. You won't be storing any hydrogen gas as most would be afraid to do. Rubber tubing collects the gases from the lid and it is injected through a small hole modified on the car's air intake pipe/manifold.

Due to the reason that both H and O Gases expand way too much than fuel, they will end up occupying more space in the engine's combustion chamber. Less fuel will be needed here and less will be burned in effect. The result; reduced fuel consumption with a higher MPG.

Lower your car's Harmful Emissions: Fact # 3

When H and O gases combine and burn together, they produce water. The gases simple reconstitute and form the more stable element of water. This means your car will produce more water than carbon gases once you are on water for gas system. You would therefore reduce the net harmful gases that your family and neighborhood gets to inhale from running your car on pure gas fuel.

Emission of less harmful substances in the atmosphere means that you will contribute to a much cleaner environment in your own small way. Imagine is everyone adopted such systems in their cars, we would slower the carbon dioxide emission considerable and lower global warming in our own little ways.

Lower Engine Wear & Tear and Noise Levels: Fact # 4

By using this simple DIY water for gas system, your car engine noise levels dramatically reduce to a whisper. The efficiency of burning H + O gases means that the car will produce less carbon deposits on the engine. The carbon deposits in the engine contribute in a great way to its reduced efficiency hence wear and tear.

There are many other advantages of using these greener alternatives to gas for your car including, reduced engine temperature, increased engine power from a more efficient engine, increased car's life expectancy and your own pride knowing you contribute to a greener environment.

Heck, once you have one of these simple kits in your car, you will become an instant expert in your neighborhood and every one will want to learn how you manage to save as much as $ 200 a week on fuel costs. You could even make some money on the side by charging a small consultancy fee for showing your so eager neighbors.

The best part of this home -made technology is that it's a do it yourself system. You will even get a very illustrated color-manual to help you along. This is available to you in less than 5 minutes Online as a downloadable digital file that costs almost a pittance compared to your gas cost savings. The system will at most take you a day to assemble and test.

A Vehicle Background Check - The Details Everyone Should Know

There are several reasons why a person that is about to purchase a used car would want to run a vehicle background check.

Many people try to take good care of their vehicles by following routine maintenance procedures, but others just ignore the needed servicing due to money issues, lack of knowledge, or even just plain laziness. Worse, the vehicle may have been involved in an accident, flood, or some other misadventure that may have long since been buried or covered up. Not everyone is out to con the potential buyer but it certainly helps to know what to look for when doing a vehicle background check.

Before you make the decision to lay down your hard earned money on a new or used vehicle, here are a few things you should chew on before you buy a car:

1. Don't be scared to speak bluntly to the owner himself. Ask the hard questions. You can often see by their body language or how quickly and easily they answer your inquiries whether they are telling the truth or not. This step may be all you really need when doing your own vehicle background check. If you can sniff out the scam artists and pick out the honest sellers then you're ahead of most other people.

2. Of course you want to be sure to test drive the car. Also, as part of your vehicle background check, you want to be the person that starts the car from a cold start so you can take notice of any problems that may occur on start-up. I once purchased a vehicle that the owner had "warmed up" for me only to discover later that it had wiring issues that cause the battery to drain after sitting a while. Don't let this be you!

3. Listen to how the engine sounds. Take note of any strange or unusual sounds. Anyone can do this so there is no reason to leave this part out of your vehicle background check. You don't have to be a mechanic to know if the engine sounds like it's running right or not. If it doesn't idle and/or run smoothly there may be problems ahead. Beware!

4. Be sure to get the vehicle identification number (better known as the VIN number). On most modern vehicles the VIN number is located on the drivers side dashboard and is visible by looking through the front window, drivers side. If it looks tampered with in any way then run the other direction!

5. It is vital to get the correct VIN number as this can be used to run a full vehicle background check with CarFax. If you're serious about purchasing a used vehicle, a CarFax vehicle background check can provide you with the critical information you need before making a purchase. The entire history of the car, where and when it was registered with mileage at the time of registration, repair records, insurance claims or accident details can be found with this one report.

How To Calculate Your Gas Mileage

Before we even talk about how to save money on gas you need to know how to calculate your gas mileage. In fact you really don't even know how much gas is costing YOU until you have calculated how many miles you get per gallon of fuel. It is a very simple to figure, but most people have no idea where to start. It's one of those things in life that we deem very important, complaining about how high the price of gasoline is, but not realizing what our MPG (miles per gallon) is.

The first step is fill up your tank, completely. I would recommend looking in your automobile's owner's manual to find out how many gallons of gas your tank will hold. This will help you to know whether or not you truly have a full tank of gas, which is vital to an accurate calculation.

Once you have completely filled up, reset your travel odometer to zero. If you don't have a travel odometer, simply write down the current mileage on your main odometer. Knowing the starting mileage of this current tank of fuel will be very important in knowing your gas mileage.

The next steps will take place once it is time to fill up again. If you are performing this calculation while driving long distances on the highway or interstate you will probably have the best gas mileage at that time. So, to get a better picture of what your vehicle's true MPG you may want to continue your typical driving habits.

When it's time to gas up your tank again you'll need to once again completely fill up the tank. Once the tank is full, write down how many gallons it took to fill up the tank. The gallons are typically located below the price on the fuel pump.

Also, write down how many miles you have driven since the last fill up, which should be on your travel odometer (If no travel odometer, simply subtract the mileage at the time of the last fill up from the mileage on this fill up).

Now, you have all the information you need to calculate your gas mileage. Here's the formula.

number of miles driven / number of gallons used

For example: If you drove 300 miles on a tank of gas that has 20 gallons in it, then your miles per gallon is 15 (300/15=20).

To summarize, here are the steps of how to calculate your gas mileage.

1. Fill up your tank

2. Reset your travel odometer to zero

3. At next fill up, completely fill up the tank again

4. Calculate miles driven

5. Calculate number of gallons used

6. Divide number of miles driven by number of gallons used

Water4Gas - Positives And Negatives

Water4Gas is taking internet by storm. No wonder - no one really wants to spend too much on petrol, and the prices are increasing with no signs of slowing down yet. It comes as no surprise that many are looking for alternative fuel sources. One of the most recent ideas is hydrogen fuel. Water4Gas is an instruction manual that is sold online to help the consumers to convert their cars to run on the mixture of petrol and hydrogen gas.

Ozzie Freeman is behind the Water4Gas creation. He and his team have put together a step-by-step guide with photos that explains exactly what to do to increase your car gas mileage. It employs hydrogen technology, which has a great potential and is still quite new and controversial.

What are the Water4Gas products?

This company offers ebooks and an email course designed to teach anyone how to build the hydrogen converter and install into a car. The books are available for purchase as a download. Those books also contain extensive information on hydrogen fuel, how to extract hydrogen from water, and the safety measures that are necessary to take when handling such substances.

Is Water4Gas a scam?

Many people consider Water4Gas a scam arguing that the authors of the ebook are charging money for the information that is otherwise freely available on the internet and in libraries. And that argument is fair enough, however to compile this information would consider an average person quite a long time. So the authors are charging a premium for the convenience, which is a commercial decision.

Another common argument is that Water4Gas cannot work because theoretically it should consume more energy to produce hydrogen that will be obtained burning it. Valid argument, however Water4Gas doesn't just burn hydrogen for energy, it uses the hydrogen-enhanced air mixture to make the burning of fuel inside a conventional engine to burn the fuel more efficiently, and this is where the petrol savings originate from.

Water4Gas Ripoff Or True?

Water powered car engines, or Water4Gas, is a new revolution that people are talking about today. But is Water4Gas Ripoff, or is it a genuine system? The good news is that it is genuine, and you can truly run your car on water using this system. I, like many others could not believe it until I tried it myself and found my car having better mileage and a cleaner engine in addition to the gas savings I achieved.

The basics of the system.

Using the system will not do away with the need of gasoline completely, instead water is used as a supplement to the gasoline to give better mileage and a longer engine life. A slight modification to the car's engine lets you use the power of electrolysis to convert water into Oxyhydrogen and then use this to run your car.

Why are the systems not promoted by Governments?

The technology to run cars on water has been around for quite some time now. But if their use became widespread then the oil companies would soon go out of business and that would mean huge losses in addition to political problems for the government. Thus the systems are often made out to be Water4Gas Ripoffs, when actually they are not so.

Is Water4gas Ripoff or are there any benefits of the system?

There are many benefits of using the Water4Gas system. The first one being the most obvious is saving on fuel costs. In addition, the system also helps increase the life of the engine by keeping it cleaner and putting less pressure on it. Acceleration and the vehicle's power also have seen an increase in most cars and lastly, the noise level is considerably lower than regular engines.

If you also want to enjoy all the benefits the system has to offer, then download one of the good guides available on the internet and modify your engine using the simple step by step guidelines given.

If you do not want to continue living in worry every day about the gas price, about how it can affect your life. You can take action and save more money and even make money, visit Water4Gas Ripoff or True? to discover how you can do it.

UK Driving Test - Dealing With Mini Roundabouts

Dealing with roundabouts is one of the skills many learner drivers find very daunting, and would ng test.rather avoid them if possible, especially on the UK driving test.

I'm going to give a few tips that will help you better understand how to deal with them and hopefully boost your confidence, starting with mini roundabouts.

First of all there are two prerequisite skills which you should have that will go a long way to helping you deal with roundabouts and get you confident for the driving test.

1. Make sure you do not have a problem moving off. If you are consistently stalling the car when moving off, or are having problems remembering to select the 1st gear after stopping before moving off, then get plenty of practise doing this until you are confident with this skill.

2. You should be able to make smooth gear changes down, using block gear changes where necessary. Again practice changing down various gears until you are confident in this area. The key here is you use the brakes to slow down the car and then select the right gear to continue at that speed. Using block gear changes on the driving test will demonstrate to the examiner that you have put extra work into getting to the test standard, as this is an advanced driving skill.

Get these two skills right, and you are half way there when it comes to roundabouts.

You obviously know how to identify a mini roundabout, and know the rule that you only have to give way to traffic on the roundabout approaching from the right. It is absolutely key you know these 2 steps, as it will help you to deal smoothly with mini roundabouts.

You should not bother about signalling to come off a mini-roundabout, they are too small, and you usually don't have enough time to do it while you are steering.

Only signal at a mini roundabout when you are either turning right or left, so if following the road ahead no signals are needed on a mini roundabout.

When your instructor or examiner on the driving test is referring to a mini roundabout, there is a word that is constantly absent 'EXIT'. The instruction will usually be 'at the roundabout I want you to turn right'

Okay now lets deal with the approach and what you need to do when you get to the roundabout.

A roundabout is a junction, and from your knowledge of junctions you will know a junction is either OPEN or CLOSED.

An OPEN junction is one which on the approach, you can see clearly what is approaching from either sides, and in the case of the mini roundabout we are only concerned with what is approaching from the right.

A mini roundabout is usually found in residential or built up areas, and you need to go round them very slowly (avoiding driving over the white central section if possible).

Okay so we are approaching an OPEN mini roundabout and are turning right (it doesn't matter which way we are going, the speed we drive round the roundabout will almost be the same), we check our mirrors, put our signal on, our position in the road does not change, we now look ahead, spot the roundabout, our main concern is traffic approaching from the right, so if there is anything that we think we might give way to, then our first thought is to try and slow the car down enough so that if possible we get to the roundabout just as that car goes past our entrance and we don't have to stop, but follow it if there is a safe gap, this is where smooth gear changes come in.Many people make a habit of stopping at a roundabout during the driving test when they could have just slowed the car enough to give way to the approaching traffic from the right.

If we find out that we do have to stop, then approach the junction in whatever gear you are in, stop at the give way line, put the car in 1st gear, and if stationary for more than about 3 seconds put the hand brake on. You should also always put the hand brake on when you stop if there is a possibility the car will roll back.

Once you have stopped at the roundabout, get that car at the biting point ready to go when you spot a safe gap in the traffic.

Spotting a safe gap requires practise, there are clues that can help though, the speed of cars, their signals, road position and the way the front tyres are pointing all give indications of what a car is about to do. For example a car approaching a mini roundabout from the opposite direction going ahead should not have any indicators on, will probably not slow down a lot, and the front wheels will be straight, so with that in mind you should be ready to proceed once that car is in the middle of the roundabout, and has blocked any traffic that might come across from the right. This skill takes practise, so don't be worried if you don't get it right at the first few attempts, the aim is to be able to do it safely during the UK driving test, so keep working on it.

If you are approaching a CLOSED mini roundabout, where you can't see what is coming from the right, then treat it like a T junction, slow down enough (make sure you also select the right gear) for you to check what is coming from the right before deciding if it is safe to go or not (Look Assess Decide Act).

It is not possible for me to go through all the scenarios you might come across, but the most important thing is spot the roundabout, approach with the right speed to allow you to decide if you can go or not, always aiming for a gap in traffic if possible.

Finally whenever you are a passenger in a car, practice these decision making skills, and see if you do the same thing as who ever was driving, and don't be afraid to ask why they choose to go when they did (if it was done safely, and they did not force another vehicle to slow down for them).

How To Convert Your Car To Run On Water To Increase Your Mileage

This article is about how to convert your car to run on water and increase your mileage. There is an affordable way to convert your car, so that it can burn part water and part gasoline. You will need to buy a kit and there are some affordable ones available on the internet. A kit contains instructions on how to build an inexpensive device, a fuel cell, that is large enough to hold a quart or a liter of water.

You are probably wondering how a fuel cell can double your gas mileage. A fuel cell uses water to generate hydrogen gas. That's it. It uses a small amount of power from your battery and creates hydrogen gas as needed by your engine. As a result of this hydrogen gas being fed to your engine, your engine needs less gasoline and burns less gasoline. Are you wondering how much water your engine will be burning? A liter or a quart can easily last several months. The reason it lasts so long is because a quart or a liter of water can produce over 1800 gallons of hydrogen gas, also known as HHO. Is it safe? Yes, it has been proven by thousands of people who are already using this technology that it is very safe. Most people who have installed fuel cells have been able to double their gas mileage, although it does vary, each vehicle is slightly different. Some other positive results include cleaner emissions, a cleaner engine, better performance and a longer lasting engine. Fuel cells can be installed in most types of vehicles. Even diesel burning vehicles can be converted to burn water. All you need is a kit and parts which can be found in most hardware stores.

Now you know how to convert your car so that it burn water along with gas, thereby increasing your gas mileage. Over time you can save a lot money by filling up that gas tank less often. Some affordable and effective kits that are simple to use and understand range in price from $50 to $100.

How To Create Fuel From Water For Your Car

Water is used for many purposes in our day to day life; cooking, drinking, washing, bathing and now, even for fueling your car. With the escalating fuel costs, many people are today preferring to use water for fueling their car, instead of gasoline. Not only does this give you a saving in your monthly expenses, it also creates a more comfortable and safe environment.

All that is required to power your car with water is to create the burnable, and high demand fuel from water, using a home built hydrogen generator. If you are apprehensive about installing the system, you can have a mechanic or friend come over to your home to install it for you.

The hydrogen generator is easy to install

This system is easy to install in the car; moreover, there is no need of modifying your engine in any way to use the system. There is also no need of modifying the computer in anyway; and if you are selling the car, you can remove the system in a matter of two minutes' time without leaving any evidence of it being there at all.

The main reason water can be used for fueling your car is because you can harness three times the energy from a gallon of water, than a gallon of gasoline. This can be done with the help of electrolysis where the source of energy would be the car's battery.

Brown's gas is named after the famous researcher Yull Brown

The electrical current has to be supplied to a set of electrodes that are submersed in water with which the water molecules are broken down into its core components. With this, orthohydrogen, or Brown's gas is created. This gas is named after the famous researcher, Yull Brown.

When your car starts running on water, you can save a minimum of 25% of your fuel costs to a maximum of 100%, depending on the model of your system. You can save more fuel by getting rid of the oxygen sensor in the car.

This sensor prevents the car from getting good mileage by measuring the oxygen in the exhaust and compensating so that you use only about 25% of the energy existing in a gallon of fuel. The rest of the fuel is then cooked by the catalytic converter, so that all evidence of the un-burnt fuel coming out of the tail pipe gets concealed, to give a cleaner environment.

Although it can be seen that by creating fuel from water, your gas expenditure is reduced considerably, many people think that these measures are employed to make one buy gas and to shorten the life of the engine. This leads to you having to buy a new car every ten years or so.

However whatever the rumors may be, with the system, it is possible to create fuel from water and thus reduce your fuel costs and create a cleaner burning fuel that helps keep the environment clean.

Tips For Choosing The Best Water Fueled Conversion System

With the help of a simple guide, it is now possible to convert a car that runs on gasoline, to run on water. However, it is not possible to use only water for fueling the car; some gas will be required for its efficient running. When this fuel is used with water, not only do you save gas money but also see a decrease in pollution.

Besides electric cars, the DIY water powered car guide helps you convert a regular car so that it runs on water. This means that with this kit, you will in fact, be making a hybrid at home with lesser costs. In addition to this, the kit also gives you access to some IRS credits, which are similar to credits you get for buying a real hybrid car. So this means you save money through reduced fuel costs, and savings in your income tax.

Hydrogen system does not affect the warranty of the car

The warranty of your car is in no way affected with the hydrogen system as there are no modifications to be done to the motor or central computer of the car. This is because this fuel conversion system is easily removable and untraceable and does not need any special skills for its assembling.

There are many benefits associated with water powered cars like lowered engine noise levels, smoother and lower gear shifting and most important, great savings on gas. Of course, and to many people, these water fuel engines helps drivers avoid frequent visits to gas stations to pump up their vehicles.

The easy installation and removal of a water conversion system is an added benefit of using these water fuel conversion systems in your car. There is no need of making any changes to the engine of the vehicle, its computer or fuel injection systems to fit the system. In fact, anyone can install this HHO system without worrying about it affecting their vehicle if and when they decide to remove the system.

Choose units with coiled electrode wires

However if you are considering using water fuel technology in your vehicle, it is better to look for a unit that works with a combined electrolyzer, water reservoir and bubbler. This is because such a unit saves lots of time and complications.

It is also better to use systems that have coiled or spiraled electrode wires instead of flat or spiraled plates. This is because the magnetic vortex that is created here improves the splitting of water. This in turn induces reduced power from the electrical system of the vehicle, a better efficiency in the car and reduced running costs.

There are numerous factors that lead to an efficient splitting of water into hydrogen and oxygen like direct current flow from electrode wires to water, the magnetic vortex formed in the electrodes and the vacuum in the engine. With better combustion in the vehicle, there is better MPG, fewer emissions and less pollution.

So by bearing all these points in mind, you will be able to find and use the best water fuel conversion system in your car.

Make a Hydrogen Generator - Run Your Car On Water

With the ever increasing price of gas these days, I knew that I had to do something to save my wallet from being completely drained at the pump. I did some research and discovered a hydrogen generator that uses water to run your car by creating HHO, or Brown's gas, and decided to give it a try.

HHO, or Brown's gas, is named after Yull Brown who discovered the technology nearly a century ago. He found that water molecules can be separated into their core elements of 2 hydrogen atoms, HH, and one oxygen atom, O, through the process of electrolysis. The electrical current breaks the bonds of the water molecule and causes the atoms to bond differently, creating this HHO gas, which is also referred to as Brown's gas.

A hydrogen generator is a device that you can build quite easily, and affordably, and it is installed in your car and creates this on demand HHO gas. This device essentially turns your vehicle into a water-burning hybrid by using water to create HHO, or Brown's gas.

A hydrogen generator allows you to run your car on water and drastically increases gas mileage and fuel efficiency. It accomplishes this task by injecting the HHO gas into the engine's air manifold where it combines with the regular gasoline already in the tank and allows for complete combustion of the fuel, and that makes it burn cleaner and more efficiently...and that adds up to greater gas mileage!

Even though the technology has been around for years, there really hasn't been much of a demand for it until now due to the price hike at the gas pumps. It doesn't make much sense for big business and the government to invest in it since it's so inexpensive and easy enough for anyone to do it! Why pay more than you are already and contribute to huge corporate profit and government tax revenue?

Another great advantage is that your vehicle requires no special modifications when you install the hydrogen generator. In fact, if you ever decide to sell the car, you can remove it and the new owner will never know that it was ever there!!

I was a bit skeptical at first that I could pull this off, but to my amazement, my daughter and I built our hydrogen generator over the span of one weekend! We found all the parts at our local hardware store and it cost less than $65.00...and we made up that cost in only a few fill-ups. I've already seen an increase of 35% in the fuel efficiency of my car, and I know that there are people all over the world who are using hydrogen generators that can improve gas mileage by as much as 50% - 100%!

I am not what one would define as 'mechanically savvy', so I know that if I can build one, then anyone who has a desire to save substantial amounts of money and not feel strapped to the gas pump, can build one and turn their vehicle into a water-burning hybrid as well!!

Want to build one yourself? Of course you do! I have a guide at my website that will show you, step by step, how to make this hydrogen generator. It's freakin' awesome and the government can't do anything about it! Go to http://MylaMadson.com/hybrid

Problems With Hybrid Cars

To buy or not to buy -- that is the question on many peoples mind these days when it comes to purchasing a new car. With gas prices being as astronomically high as they are, a great many people are looking at hybrid cars to solve the "grump at the pump syndrome." Hybrid vehicles may be money-saving for drivers and a grand "pollution-solution;" however, there are things you may not know that might influence your choice. The following represents examples you should seriously consider as some of the "bad news" about hybrid cars:

1. Hybrid cars incorporate new technology. When technology is new and minimally tested, there always exists the "reboot" scenario. As an example, until all the glitches are resolved, a hybrid car "vehicular reboot" in the middle of rush hour traffic could be a nightmare. Another hard-to-imagine example is being alone and losing power late at night;

2. Hybrids are lightweight. Hybrid cars have to accommodate large battery packs making the lighter materials necessary. There may never be "just a fender-bender" in a hybrid car. You should consider that what was once just a minor collision in an ordinary car may be much worse in a hybrid car;

3. Hybrid vehicles are small. If you have a long Christmas list and wait until the last minute, don't try to take the kids with you in a hybrid car to the mall. Hybrid cars, at the present time, have very limited cargo and seating space;

4. Hybrids are too quiet. Taking a silently golden ride down a country road in your hybrid car sounds lovely. BUT - hybrid cars run so silently that a child getting ready to dash across that county road may not hear you coming. While driving any vehicle demands great attention, it is even more important in the quiet hybrid car for the safety of all pedestrians and surrounding traffic; and,

5. Hybrid cars are slow on the "take off." Forget about gunning the engine to beat a train in a hybrid car. Entering onto a freeway or merging may not be as easy with a hybrid car. This issue alone has had many drivers wondering about safety problems.

The above examples were, or could have been, said about conventional automobiles at one time. Skepticism about anything new is common. However, skepticism is important to any decision regarding all large investments. It was probably more daunting to decide to buy an automobile in 1920 than deciding on buying a hybrid car today.

You probably have heard all the catch phrases touting the hybrid car. The "good news" is that hybrid cars are very fuel-efficient, truly environmentally-friendly, and, technologically cutting-edge-not to mention really cool. Before you write the check, though, take your time; do more research; talk to hybrid car owners; take a hide-and-watch stance. When, and if, you decide to buy, know your decision is based on information you have gathered. You wouldn't want buyers' remorse over a hybrid vehicle.

Hydrogen Conversion Kits - Are They Easy To Fit?

If you're considering halving your gasoline costs by fitting an under-the-hood hydrogen conversion kit you might be wondering how easy it is to build and install.. Well, if you'd had to do all the experimentation and testing that the originators of these systems had to do then it would never be worth your while.

However, the good news is that 95% of the work has already been done for you. The hydrogen conversion kit discussed here is the result of the building and testing of over 200 different installations, each one an improvement on its predecessor.

It means that if you can follow a series of simple instructions and can handle normal hand tools then you should be able to built and fit one of these systems in a relatively short time.

The main bulk of the work is actually done on the kitchen table. Cutting the electrodes to size, bending them appropriately and building the tubing harness can all be done with simple tools and the minimum of effort. Then you need to install it under the hood. The trickiest part is to find a good place to install the water reservoir and to drill the holes to screw it into place. But once that's out of the way, the rest is a breeze of simply connecting up wires and tubes.

The key to getting it to deliver the maximum improvement to your mpg is to take your time, work methodically and don't skimp on parts or testing. If you follow the instructions to the letter then you can't go far wrong. Obtain your parts from the suppliers recommended in the guide and the entire system should cost you less that you'd pay in a restaurant for a meal for four.

There are going to be more and more people using hydrogen conversion kits over the next five years as oil prices continue to rise so there's no reason to delay.

John Richards has been trying to run his car in the face of rising oil prices. He sees the hydrogen conversion kit is seen as a real solution for the impecunious DIYer.

Hybrid Technology In SUVs and Trucks

Currently most of these hybrid cars cost as much as some of the most expensive cars on the market. Until this technology is out of development and practical production methods are implemented these vehicles will continue to be out of reach for most normal people. Currently the batteries designed to be used in these hybrids are built to last less than a decade. Imagine mounds of caustic acid filled batteries that are going to have to be disposed of.

Hybrid electric cars recharge the batteries while you drive by generating energy in an electric motor attached to your drive train. As you drive your wheels turn the electric generator which stores electric in the batteries. Your vehicle draws energy from the batteries as its needed. This is referred to as regenerative braking as it places resistance on your drive train which slows down the wheels.

Another option to create a Hybrid SUV and Truck is currently being used by thousands. This is by supplementing your normal fuel with Hydrogen Gas produced from water. This inexpensive and easy to install kit will fit in any current SUV or Truck. By using a small electrical current from your battery it releases Hydrogen Gas from water in a specially designed container. This resulting Hydrogen Gas mixes with your vehicles fuel/air mixture and results in increases of 33% to 50% in gas mileage and more.

The resulting gas commonly called HHO, Hydroxy, or Browns Gas, is 2.7 times more powerful than normal fuels but with the chemical stability of H2O. This results in increased horsepower in your SUV or Truck and a smoother and cooler running engine.

The installation of this kit legally converts your SUV, car, or truck to Hybrid status. Currently hybrid car owners are enjoying tax credits of $2,000 to $50,000 from the I.R.S.

If you would like to learn more on how you can start saving thousands off of your fuel bill, save wear and tear on your vehicle engine, and help the environment at the same time please visit http://www.water-as-gas.com Watch videos of these vehicles in action.

HHO Gas Car Conversion To Run Your Car On Browns Gas

Is anyone else just about fed up with the price of fuel these days. It just keeps getting higher and higher, and by the looks of things, thats the way it's going to be for a for long time to come.

Until recant years, nobody really cared about an alternative to just gas, because there was no reason to. Well now there is one, it is a HHO gas conversion kit that can run your car on browns gas, a supplemental to gas, to increase your car's fuel efficiency, this is a system that every vehicle owner should install and reduce their fuel costs by 50%.

The reason I am telling you about this is because right now when you fill up your tank with gas, only about 25% of that is actually goes through the engine, the other 75% is just pollution. But with the HHO gas car conversion kit, you will get to burn about 40 - 70% of the fuel.

If you have not been paying attention the news, the world's largest oil company posted a 17% hike in the first quarter of this year net income. So, why should you be giving these guys any more of your hard earned money, after all it is your hard earned money. The HHO gas car conversion manual costs less than a tank of fuel and the supplies to make it costs around $75, and the system is so simple to install, so by this time tomorrow you could be running your car on browns gas.

Are you ready to laugh at rising fuel prices? Are you interested in building you own HHO gas car conversion kit? We have created a review site for the best Water Fuel Conversions Guides on the market.

HHO Gas Car Kits - Browns Gas Conversion, Why Should You Do It?

HHO gas conversion also know as Browns gas conversion is taking off in popularity at an alarming rate around the world. The reason for this is not surprising, rising fuel prices. As folks feel the bite of ever-increasing gas costs they are turning to alternative fuel sources such as this one which will provide them with a gas mileage increase of between 10 and 50%.

These HHO gas or Browns gas conversion kits can be found online for cars and trucks for a reasonable price, or you can build your own unit from instructions bought in e-book form online. Most offers on the internet are the real deal and will benefit your gas savings significantly.

But just how do you use this HHO gas / browns gas conversion system? Well, it`s pretty simple. It all revolves around the process of water electrolysis. Electricity is applied to water in a sealed jar under your car`s hood which causes a chemical reaction, this in turn produces HHO gas, also known as Browns gas. This is then fed into your engine`s fuel manifold where it is mixed with the gasoline and has the proven effect of increasing your gas mileage and increasing performance. Other names for this process are: Hydrogen on demand and Aquygen. The latter name has now been copyrighted by a large company.

The system is very simple to build yourself as long as you follow the instructions to the letter. All the parts can be found at your local hardware store and bought cheaply. The components that you buy are generally a medium sized jar, wiring, fuses, baking soda, vacuum valve etc. You won`t void your vehicles warranty when you install the HHO gas / Browns gas unit and it can easily be taken off without leaving a trace. The entire installation will cost you about $90.

There are many sites online that promote this. Many of them have videos on the process that provide proof of normal folks with functioning systems. Be sure to get the right information before you make your decision. All in all an HHO gas / Brown`s gas system is a good cheap alternative to increase gas mileage and reduce fuel emissions for your vehicle.

Hydrogen Generator - Run a Car on Water - Hypermiling

Hypermiling seems to be the newest idea on how to save gas and increase fuel efficiency. I still prefer to use my hydrogen generator and run my car on water. It works great and I think it's considerably safer than hypermiling.

Hypermiling is a method of improving gas mileage and fuel efficiency by altering driving habits. Some of the ways that this is achieved is to avoid hills when planning a travel route, over inflating your tires, get behind a big truck on the road and cut off your engine and coast, and to avoid stop and go traffic.

I don't know about you, but most of these methods seem incredibly dangerous and foolish. I found a method to increase gas mileage that's proven safe and effective, I built a hydrogen generator and now run my car on water.

A hydrogen generator works by creating an on demand gas called HHO, or Browns' gas. This is done when an electrical current is passed through water and causes the molecule to separate into its core elements of 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, or HHO. The engine then uses this gas as a supplement to the regular gasoline that's already present in the tank. It allows the gas to combust completely and burn cleaner and more efficiently.

My daughter and I built a hydrogen generator with parts we found at a local store, and for less than $65.00! I was amazed at how easy it was for us to do, and we completed it in one weekend. I'm just a simple country girl with not a lot of mechanical abilities, so the fact that we could build a hydrogen generator that was so easy and affordable, is truly remarkable!

I am now using the hydrogen generator to run my car on water and the savings are great, my gas mileage and efficiency have increased 35%- 40%. There are thousands of people all over the world using models that can improve fuel efficiency from 50% - 100%!

I'm thrilled with my hydrogen generator and I know that it's much safer and more effective than the risky habits of hypermiling. It's so easy and affordable that anyone can do it and enjoy all the benefits of their own hydrogen generator and running their cars on water!

HHO Gas Conversion DIY Kit - Run Your Car on Water

Are you like many Americans who are experiencing sticker shock at the gas pump? There's technology available that allows you to run your car on water by using a gas conversion kit, or hydrogen generator, that creates HHO gas.

HHO gas, or Brown's gas, was discovered many years ago by Yull Brown, a noted researcher. Even though the technology has been around for years, it's only recently been at the forefront of consumers' attention because of the significant rise in gas prices.

It is very easy to build a hydrogen generator and run your car on water. You place two electrodes in a container of ordinary tap water and then send a current through it. This causes the water molecules to separate into its core elements of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom by breaking the normal bonds. The end result is HHO, or Brown's gas.

This on demand HHO gas that's created is then drawn into your engine where it supplements the regular gasoline already present in the tank. It allows for complete combustion of the fuel and it burns cleaner and more efficiently.

I was able to build my hydrogen generator with my daughter in one weekend. I found all the parts locally and it cost less than $65.00. This gas conversion kit, or hydrogen generator, allows my car to run on water and it has improved my fuel efficiency by 35% - 40%. I decided to build just the basic model of a hydrogen generator, but there are models available that increase gas mileage and fuel efficiency by 50% - 100%.

Now that I'm over my sticker shock at the gas pump, I'm enjoying my hydrogen generator and still amazed that I'm using water to run my car. I've seen tremendous savings and I'm looking forward to more hard earned money staying in my pocket!

Want to build one yourself? Of course you do! I have a guide at my website that will show you, step by step, how to make this hydrogen generator. It's freakin' awesome and the government can't do anything about it! Go to http://MylaMadson.com/hybrid
